Fred Chieux : Chief Executive Officer & General Counsel

Fred is an experienced entrepeneur with a strong background in business operations, marketing and business development.  At Neomar, (acquired by Good technology in 2003) Fred was  Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing where he built and managed the sales and marketing team. Fred negotiated and executed OEM licensing agreements with Cingular, RIM, 724 Solutions, Bell Mobility, Palm, Google, Yahoo and Motient and also served as General Counsel for Neomar. Fred began his career at SBC Communications and also has worked for IBM.

Fred earned a J.D. from the University of Colorado and an M.B.A. from the University of Texas-Austin. He is a Sylff Fellow and member of the California Bar Association.

Basim Faris – Chief Technology Officer (Technology Development, Operations)

Basim brings a strong background in software development, project management and business process in a variety of industries, including telephony, pharmaceuticals, financial and media services. As Vice President of Professional Services and Operations at Catalis, Basim built and managed the professional services and operations teams developing and deploying an enterprise class graphical patient record system including negotiating agreements with Dell, Novell, Cisco and other vendors.

Basim earned an MS in Industrial Engineering and BS in Mechanical Engineering from Western Michigan University.

Robert Martin: VP of Product Strategy

Robert is an experienced technology professional with experience in sales, marketing and product management.  Prior to ULM Robert established the Japan operations for FormFactor (NASDAQ:FORM), a $250 million manufacturer of test equipment for the semiconductor industry. Robert secured the companies first sales in the Japanese market and managed the major Japanese semiconductor manufacturers growing the Japan operations to $2 million in revenue. In addition, Robert served as a product manager for products that contributed 40% of FormFactor’s revenue.

Robert earned his MBA from The Wharton School, an MS from the University of Tokyo and a BS from MIT both in Aero/Astro Engineering.
